Child Safety Standards Policy
1. Zero Tolerance Policy
We strictly prohibit any content or activity that exploits or endangers children, including:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Sexualisation of minors
- Grooming or solicitation of minors
- Any behaviour that may expose children to sexual predators or inappropriate content
Any such content will be promptly removed, and appropriate action will be taken, including account suspension or termination and reporting to relevant authorities, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or local law enforcement.
2. Content Monitoring and Moderation
Our platform uses a combination of automated tools and human moderation to:
- Detect and block abusive content
- Review flagged material and user reports
- Remove content that violates child safety standards
We also use industry-standard tools (e.g. Google CSAI Match, Microsoft PhotoDNA) where applicable to identify known CSAM.
3. Reporting and Response Mechanisms
Users can report any content or behaviour that appears to violate our child safety standards. Reports are prioritised and handled by a trained safety team.
To report a concern, users can [describe how they can report: through the app, via email, or a form].
We work with relevant authorities and organisations as needed to respond to CSAE cases.
4. Age-Appropriate Design
Our app is designed to be appropriate for its intended age group:
- We do not target children under the age of 13 unless the app is part of a designated Designed for Families program.
- We enforce age gating where applicable.
- We do not collect personal information from children without verified parental consent.
5. Staff Training and Internal Policy
Our team receives regular training on identifying and responding to CSAE risks. We maintain an internal child safety policy that aligns with Google Play’s Developer Programme Policies and international child protection standards.
6. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and child protection organisations. When CSAE content is identified, we preserve evidence as required and provide relevant data to assist investigations, in compliance with legal obligations and privacy laws.
